Position Overview

The role of the Field Sales Executive is crucial for driving sales initiatives and fostering customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in the promotion, marketing, and demonstration of products while effectively conveying their features and advantages.
  • Expand the customer base by acquiring new clients and upselling to current customers.
  • Work collaboratively with management, team members, and suppliers to devise and execute sales strategies and explore new market opportunities.
  • Assist clients in selecting and applying products by leveraging expertise and resources.
  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships by understanding their operations and tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Coordinate with customers and team members to provide quotes and maintain communication throughout the purchasing process.
  • Address payment issues in collaboration with management and clients in a timely manner.
  • Collect and report market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing, and products to management.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge through training sessions and seminars.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including call schedules and expense reports.
  • Organize sales meetings with vendors to showcase products and understand customer requirements.
  • Leverage digital tools and customer solutions to gain a competitive edge.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or the electrical industry.

  • Demonstrated positive and helpful demeanor towards customers.
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Essential product and application knowledge.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and relevant ERP and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
