Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales team objectives and annual sales goals while formulating and executing both short-term and long-term marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing.
  • A bachelor's degree in sales, business administration, marketing, or communications.
  • Previous leadership experience managing a department within a comparable hotel environment.

Essential Leadership Qualities:
Demonstrate brand commitment, strategic foresight, adaptability to change, effective team leadership, talent development, results orientation, and collaborative work ethic.

  • Strong creative and analytical capabilities to design and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives. Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Willingness to travel for workshops, trade shows, conventions, and other professional events.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Delphi, Concerto, and database management tools is required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively negotiate, persuade, influence, and drive sales.
  • A proven history of achieving business objectives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing strategies and best practices relevant to a sales department.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for a bachelor's degree in marketing or hospitality.
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A minimum of 5 years of prior sales and marketing experience, including some in a management capacity, is essential.
