Ocular Specialty Field Sales Representative

Bausch + Lomb, a leading global eye health company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ocular Specialty Field Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for marketing and promoting our range of proprietary eye care products to physicians.
Responsibilities- Business Development: Develop and execute a territory business plan to drive growth in prescribing and market share.
- Product Promotion: Stay current on managed care coverage of products and communicate effectively with healthcare providers around updates.
- Clinical Selling: Utilize clinical selling techniques to bring value and influence customer thinking about treatment and patient management.
- Account Management: Visit ophthalmologists and optometrists based on established call plans and independent assessments of prescription activity and potential growth.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent amount of experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience with a proven track record of success.
- Residency: Required residence in the territory geography.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of ophthalmology preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrated competency with studies/clinical reprints and other third-party proof sources, proven PC skills, and ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business trade journals, professional journals, and financial reports.
- Networking: Ability to build a network of customers and industry contacts, including key opinion leaders and speakers.
- Knowledge Development: Continue knowledge development and maintain market trends.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to achieve annual target incentive.
- Strategic Selling: Skilled in strategic selling with a desire to assist others with success.
