Job Description

Mallory Alexander International Logistics, a leading global third-party logistics company (3PL), is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Sales Executive to drive revenue and profit growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and establishing new business opportunities, developing continuing customer relationships, and offering customized freight forwarding and supply chain services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business in the market and strengthen existing customer relationships.
  • Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, face-to-face cold calling, and networking.
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients on various solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with customers and maintain close communication with customers and Mallory Alexander's operations to ensure expectations are satisfied.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory.
  • Define the optimal target accounts, analyze the sales arena, and use positioning strategies to define and exploit Mallory Alexander's unique value propositions.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of field sales experience in freight forwarding, air export, and imports.
  • Experience with logistics processes, systems, and solutions.
  • Solid PC operational knowledge and Microsoft Office applications experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to close new business.
  • Effective presentation and customer relations skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Self-motivated with excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of business acumen.
  • Valid Driver's License and excellent driving record.
