Job Overview

B Safe Security is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. We provide a competitive commission structure alongside a salary based on experience.

Position Overview: The Field Sales Consultant will possess substantial experience in external sales, ideally within the commercial fire safety sector. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as the capacity to foster robust customer relationships. The consultant will play a pivotal role in driving company growth and enhancing the branch's reputation in installation and service for commercial clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain a network of contacts to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Engage with customers and prospects to ascertain their product or service requirements; recommend suitable products and services.
  • Inform potential clients about the available products and services.
  • Showcase the features and benefits of products or services to clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; address any post-sale issues that may arise.
  • Maintain contact with current and former clients, updating them on new products, services, and enhancements that may interest them.
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities, including calls, orders, lost business, and any issues related to customer or vendor relationships.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in external sales is required.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of the fire and security industry, or a willingness to learn, is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation capabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of target market industries and strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
