Role Summary
The Cannabis Sales Specialist serves as a knowledgeable representative of Altitude Cannabis, delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for cannabis. This role provides an opportunity for professional growth and increased responsibilities over time. The position requires availability throughout the week.

Responsibilities
The primary duties of the Cannabis Sales Specialist include:
- Providing personalized consultations to customers, sharing in-depth product knowledge to guide their choices.
- Managing sales transactions and ensuring compliance with inventory protocols.
- Maintaining accurate customer records in accordance with legal and company standards.
- Educating customers on product usage, safe dosages, and cannabis laws.
- Assisting with inventory management and cash handling as needed.
- Creating a welcoming and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Dispensing cannabis products at designated points of sale, adhering to established procedures.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: 2 years of post-secondary education in a relevant field.
Experience
• Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role within the cannabis industry or a similar regulated sector.
• Proven track record of taking on increased responsibilities and completing projects.
Knowledge Requirements
• Proficiency in using POS systems and office software.
• Comprehensive understanding of state cannabis regulations.
• Familiarity with cannabis products, including terpenes, strains, and consumption methods.
Skills and Abilities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
