Soleil Tans is a pioneering leader in the sun spa sector. Our primary goal is to ensure that every moment spent in our spa is the highlight of our guests' day. We achieve this by delivering exceptional customer service, guiding guests in selecting the ideal service or membership, and maintaining our facilities and equipment in impeccable condition.


This is a part-time role, and we seek candidates who can commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week (2 or 3 shifts), including one weekend day. The starting pay for this position is $15.25 per hour, with the potential to earn $17.25 per hour after completing our training and certification program within a year. Additionally, we offer a generous bonus structure based on product and membership sales, with our average Spa Consultant earning an extra $1 to $4 per hour through bonuses. Our team also receives tips for providing outstanding service to every guest.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistently high-quality customer service to all guests.
  • Promote memberships, upsell to existing members, and assist guests effectively.
  • Gain knowledge of each lotion and recommend suitable options to guests.
  • Understand the features of each tanning bed and suggest appropriate options to guests.
  • Communicate health and safety information clearly to guests.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with management to maintain exceptional customer service standards.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new Spa Consultants.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laundry, facilities, and equipment at all times.
  • Adhere to bed cleaning schedules and procedures as required.
  • Uphold the professional image of Soleil Tans in all interactions.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings (this time is compensated).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role - we are looking for customer service stars.
  • Must possess a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Must maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance.
  • Must be punctual and prepared to work as scheduled.
  • Availability for at least 12 hours per week, including one weekend day.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in a retail or sales-driven environment. Your compensation will be tied to membership and product sales, so your contributions will be rewarded.

Compensation:

  • Starting pay is $15.25/hour with a guaranteed increase to $17.25/hour after completing our training and certification program.
