The primary duties of the Cannabis Sales Specialist include:

  • Conducting personalized consultations with customers, providing detailed product education and recommendations.

  • Collaborating with team members to address customer inquiries and enhance the overall retail experience.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Preferred: 2 years of post-secondary education in a relevant field.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service-focused role, preferably within the cannabis industry or a similar regulated field.

• Proven track record of taking on increased responsibilities and completing additional projects.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficient in using POS systems and handling sales transactions.

• Familiarity with state laws governing cannabis.

• Strong arithmetic skills for inventory and cash management.

• Comprehensive knowledge of cannabis products, including their properties and effects.
