Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Cannabis Consultant include:

  • Conducting personalized consultations with customers, offering detailed product insights and guidance.
  • Managing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Ensuring compliance with inventory management and state regulations.
  • Providing education on safe consumption and product selection.
  • Maintaining a clean and inviting environment for customers.
  • Collaborating with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Preferred: 2 years of post-secondary education in a relevant field.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role, preferably within the cannabis industry or a similar regulated field.

• Demonstrated history of taking on increased responsibilities and challenges.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficient in using POS systems and basic office software.

• Comprehensive understanding of cannabis laws and product knowledge.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

• Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Must meet state-mandated age requirements and pass a background check.
