Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and create target customers in freight forwarding and/or logistics related industries.
  • Sales Promotion: Promote all company products and services for imports and exports to increase sales.
  • Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed sales goals and targets.
  • Market Research: Research and identify new business opportunities to evaluate needs and provide insight.
  • Strategy Execution: Ensure execution of developed sales strategies, objectives, and goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with all clients through efficient communication, work processes and services, including responding to customers' questions about products, prices, services and credit terms.
  • Communication Support: Provide excellent communication support for sales calls and manage follow-up.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain and develop general industry knowledge, including competitors and their market presence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product/pricing team and oversea partners to ensure all quotes, proposals are accurate.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in international freight forwarding and/or relevant logistics sales experience required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess a thorough understanding of the domestic and international transportation industry (trucking, rail, air and ocean modes).
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher required in a business-related field.
  • Skills: Proven track record in sales, prospecting, and developing accounts. Familiar with digital freight forwarder platforms and processes. Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels (C Level, Managers, Staff). Excellent presentation and selling skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow up with clients. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% in the US.
  • Language: Bilingual Korean required.
