Job Title: Logistics Sales Manager

Samsung SDS America is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for planning and executing direct sales activities to attain new customers in domestic and international freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts and serve as the main point of contact for key clients.
  • Conduct regular assessments to understand the evolving needs and goals of key customers and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that products or services align with client requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of problems to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing key accounts and promote all company products and services for imports and exports to increase sales.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize customer retention and growth and collaborate with internal stakeholders to align business strategies with the goals of key accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and facilitate the renewal of contracts and agreements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and customer behavior and conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management on key account performance and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a business-related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in international freight forwarding, warehouse operations with supply chain knowledge and/or relevant logistics sales experience.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the domestic and international transportation industry (trucking, rail, air, and ocean modes).
  • Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels (C-Level, Managers, Staff).
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Team Player.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Experience working with Japanese companies preferred.
  • Domestic travel up to 30%.
