Position Summary:

The Photography Operations Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control of images captured by the photography team. This role is essential in ensuring that guests receive a memorable experience while their photographs are taken.

The supervisor will provide guidance on camera operations to the photography team, ensuring that all staff are adequately trained and equipped to enhance the photography experience. Responsibilities include managing inventory of photographic equipment and directing guest interactions in a professional manner.

This position also involves assisting in the training of new staff members and ensuring that exceptional customer service is delivered, acting as a representative of the company. The supervisor will engage with guests to review their photographs, utilizing software to enhance images and employing effective sales techniques to promote photo packages.


Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Canon cameras and understanding of ISO and aperture settings.
  • Experience with green screen technology is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and sales background.
  • Ability to interact positively with guests and tour groups, providing prompt and exceptional service.
  • Skill in reviewing and enhancing photographs to encourage purchases.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to foster teamwork, multitask efficiently, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Ability to meet sales targets as established by management.
  • Experience in a fast-paced sales environment while maintaining composure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the photography team in capturing images of guests during their experience.
  • Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, explaining various photography options available.
  • Assist guests in reviewing their photos, utilizing software to enhance their images.
  • Print purchased photographs and prepare them for customer collection.
  • Manage inventory of photography supplies, including cameras and accessories.
  • Guide customer flow during ticket purchases and photo pick-up.
  • Support retail or ticket sales as needed.
  • Encourage a collaborative team environment and assist in training new team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in computer usage with sales experience required.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with relevant background.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lbs. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, is essential. Candidates should be comfortable with heights.
