Position Overview:


The Supply Chain Operations Manager at Grand Canyon Resort Corporation is responsible for managing the acquisition of retail products and materials vital for everyday functions. This position requires collaboration with leadership, operational teams, and suppliers to ensure effective and economical supply chain oversight.

Key responsibilities include identifying new suppliers, fostering positive business relationships, optimizing stock levels, and serving as an ambassador for the Hualapai Tribe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess inventory levels and pricing strategies
  • Provide guidance to operational departments on procurement and inventory evaluations
  • Work alongside Marketing to ensure cohesive branding
  • Evaluate supplier performance and cost-effectiveness
  • Guarantee adherence to relevant laws and regulations
  • Maintain effective communication with departmental leaders
  • Prioritize tasks and demonstrate problem-solving capabilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in retail, supply chain management, or business administration
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management
  • Exceptional guest service skills and ability to collaborate within a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with Tribal entities is preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Preference will be given to Hualapai Tribal members

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, talk, and listen
  • Capacity to concentrate for extended periods
  • Effective communication and operation of equipment
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 lbs
