Position Overview
Job Summary:
As the Director of Enterprise Applications, you will oversee the management of the application programming and system administration team. This role involves the implementation, configuration, optimization, and support of major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including student services, financial aid, finance, and human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership within the Information Technology (IT) Department, ensuring alignment with the District's goals and future direction of enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with various departments to assess their needs and coordinate technology projects, including software upgrades and new system implementations.
- Manage project teams through the entire system implementation lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and District standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project management plans for system modifications and enhancements.
- Lead the strategic planning process for information technology and management systems across the District.
- Implement and sustain technology solutions that enhance student learning, faculty instruction, and administrative efficiency.
- Oversee the integration of various ERP systems to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure the security and reliability of all computerized information systems.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of the Enterprise Applications team, fostering a supportive environment for professional development.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with substantial experience in an IT department, including significant management responsibilities.
