Head of Enterprise Systems Management

Job Summary:
As a pivotal leader within the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District, the Director of Enterprise Systems plays a crucial role in overseeing the management of application programming and system administration. This position is responsible for the implementation, configuration, optimization, and support of key Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, which encompass student/instructional services, financial aid, finance, human resources/payroll, and associated systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the Information Technology (IT) Department, ensuring alignment with the District's goals and the future direction of enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with various departments to assess technological needs and coordinate the development and implementation of enterprise systems.
- Oversee project management for ERP systems, ensuring adherence to best practices in technology implementation.
- Manage cross-functional teams throughout the system implementation lifecycle, including needs analysis, functional requirements development, and training.
- Develop comprehensive project management plans for system modifications and enhancements.
- Facilitate the district-wide strategic planning process for information technology and management information systems.
- Implement and maintain technology solutions that support educational and administrative processes, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Ensure the integrity, reliability, and security of computerized information across the District.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel, fostering a climate of professional development.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with substantial experience in an IT department, including significant management or supervisory experience.
Skills and Abilities:
