Job Summary:

Leidos is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our Field Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, assisting junior technicians in resolving complex issues, and serving as an interface between our site and the Queue Management group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical support to customers, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist junior technicians in resolving complex technical issues
  • Manage the resolution of customer tickets according to established Service Level Requirements (SLRs)
  • Serve as an EVIP/VIP technician

Requirements:

  • US Citizen
  • DoD Secret Clearance
  • High School diploma with 5+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher Certification
  • Expertise in IT Enterprise Operations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs for up to a 100 feet at a time
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, such as raised floors or communications closets
  • Ability to work in noisy environments, such as data centers and operations centers
  • Ability to stand or sit for 8 hours at a time
  • Ability to utilize basic hand tools, such as screwdrivers and wrenches
  • Normal color vision to identify different colors of wires and cables
  • Correctable vision to 20/20 or better
  • Depth perception to judge distance between objects
  • Ability to use and read digital test equipment, such as OTDR
  • Ability to drive personal or corporate vehicle to different locations
