Key Responsibilities:
Life Enrichment – Facilitate personal satisfaction and enrichment for our memory care residents by creating and executing innovative and engaging activities, programs, outings, and events. Communication – Generate content for newsletters, flyers, activity schedules, and other materials that promote awareness and engagement among residents, families, and staff. Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure comprehensive visibility of programming. Event Coordination – Strategically plan and execute creative activities, outings, and programs that enhance the lives of our memory care residents. Management – Oversee costs, manage the activities budget, and inspire the activities team to achieve excellence. Social Engagement – Encourage participation in activities and foster social connections among memory care residents. Solicit feedback from residents regarding activities and adapt programs to best meet their needs. Involve family members and guests in activities whenever feasible.Required Qualifications
EXCEPTIONAL communication skills (e.g., face-to-face, in-person, phone) – You will interact with a diverse range of individuals and departments, making it crucial to enjoy daily interactions and feel comfortable speaking to small groups.
