Position Overview

You will be a versatile and adaptable leader, responsible for designing and implementing activities that significantly enhance the quality of life for our residents. Essential to this role are excellent communication skills, unwavering reliability, and the ability to meet deadlines, even amidst changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Life Enrichment – Facilitate personal satisfaction and enrichment for our memory care residents by creating and executing innovative and engaging activities, programs, outings, and events. Communication – Generate content for newsletters, flyers, activity schedules, and other materials that promote awareness and engagement among residents, families, and staff. Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure comprehensive visibility of programming. Event Coordination – Strategically plan and execute creative activities, outings, and programs that enhance the lives of our memory care residents. Budget Management – Oversee expenses, manage the activities budget, and motivate the activities team. Social Engagement – Encourage participation in activities and foster social connections among memory care residents. Solicit feedback from residents regarding activities and adjust programs to better meet their needs. Involve family members and guests in activities whenever feasible.

Required Qualifications

EXCEPTIONAL communication abilities (e.g., face-to-face, in-person, phone) – Enjoy engaging with a diverse range of individuals and departments daily, and be comfortable speaking to small groups. STRONG attention to detail – Recognize that the small details matter. SELF-MOTIVATED – Capable of taking initiative on projects and ideally exceeding expectations by anticipating needs. INNOVATIVE – Embrace creative thinking and problem-solving. ADAPTABLE – Thrive in a fast-paced environment where change is constant, and be willing to evolve and drive progress. ORGANIZED – Manage multiple responsibilities effectively and maintain organization within a dynamic team setting.
