Currently, we are in search of a Senior Territory Account Representative to oversee operations in a designated territory. This role is primarily focused on outside sales and sales management of new industrial motors and motor repair services. The territory mainly includes regions of Montana and Northern Idaho.

We seek a proactive, highly driven individual who is results-oriented and possesses the ambition to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team. The ideal candidate will be based in Montana and will work from home when not traveling, with an expected travel commitment of 50-75% of the time. This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide commercial and contractual insights for bid preparation, collaborating with the proposals team for successful submissions.
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct sales calls to both new and existing clients.
  • Achieve company targets for product sales and profitability within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement strategies to retain and expand the current customer base.
  • Coordinate sales efforts to ensure customer inquiries are addressed professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain current product sales while assisting in formulating strategies for new product lines to ensure market growth.
  • Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset and adapt to market changes.
  • Manage time and priorities effectively, utilizing available resources to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Engage with customers to assess their needs, follow up, and convert opportunities into profitable sales.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to take initiative and work independently.
  • Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's capabilities, services, and products.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial motors, power generation, or industrial sales, or at least 10 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Strong aptitude in electrical, mechanical, and sales disciplines.
  • General knowledge of industrial sales, particularly in industrial motor sales, is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365/Office Suite and experienced with CRM software.
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
