Job Overview

Position: Senior Financial Accountant

Location: Corporate Office

Status: Full Time, Exempt

Reports To: Controller

This role is integral in providing support to administrative personnel and field teams through various financial functions:

  • Conducting financial reconciliations (including bank and credit card)
  • Managing accounts payable processes
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Engaging in financial analysis projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with construction accounting experience will be given priority consideration.

Essential Skills and Experience: To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in business accounting for multi-company bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, QuickBooks, and relevant industry software
  • The ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently

Desirable Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience in construction accounting or a similar sector
  • Background as a self-employed business owner or providing direct administrative support to small to medium enterprises

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, approximately three times per week

Compensation and Benefits:
