The ideal candidate will create new business demand, build credibility, foster client relationships, and effectively communicate the value of our client's Technology Solutions as a Service, ensuring maximum client benefit.

The Strategic Account Manager will excel in collaborative account and territory planning, managing significant deal pursuits, conducting competitive analysis, and forecasting to meet key sales and financial objectives accurately and timely.

Experience in selling Managed Services is essential.

The successful candidate will adopt a consultative approach, leveraging technology solutions, managed IT services, and cloud computing to address business challenges.

  • Critical thinking skills are necessary to identify and close new business opportunities by establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Experience in prospecting for new clients using diverse techniques and lead sources is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and revenue growth through a combination of managing existing accounts and acquiring new clients.
  • Oversee current client accounts while actively seeking new customer opportunities.
  • Develop account and territory plans along with medium to long-term sales strategies.
  • Achieve or surpass established sales targets.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive and technological landscapes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of business domains and client verticals.
  • Utilize sales tools effectively and keep client account information updated in CRM systems.
  • Engage in marketing campaigns and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and service delivery teams to ensure efficient outcomes and foster long-term client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 3-8 years of direct sales experience in complex IT services, managed IT services, and cloud computing solutions; familiarity with Cisco and Microsoft technologies is a significant advantage. A strong background in selling Managed Service Solutions to Mid-Market and Large Enterprise Customers is essential.
  • Proven commercial acumen with the ability to pursue, negotiate, and finalize multi-year IT service contracts.
  • Experience in IT Outsourcing across End-user, Infrastructure, and Application services is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of presenting to Director and C-level executives.
  • Ability to work independently to identify and qualify new customers and sales opportunities.
  • High energy, forward-thinking, and a positive influence on the team and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and effective follow-up.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Internet applications.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
