Role Description

Medline Industries, Inc. is actively seeking a ReNewal Sales Specialist to operate within the Detroit, MI area and its surroundings. We are in search of a motivated and diligent individual eager to thrive in a dynamic, large-scale corporate environment.

This role necessitates the capacity to absorb and convey intricate technical information pertinent to Medline's surgical and medical apparatus. The healthcare professionals engaged include, but are not limited to, surgeons, operating room directors, and managers. The position is under the supervision of the Regional Sales Manager.

What is Medline ReNewal?

Medline ReNewal specializes in restoring single-use medical devices to their original quality, functionality, and sterility, adhering to stringent standards and processes regulated by the FDA. As a frontrunner in medical device reprocessing, we aim to surpass expectations by maintaining the highest safety and performance standards while offering up to 50% savings in supply costs compared to purchasing new devices. Each device comes with a safety warranty and boasts a 99.99% quality rating to ensure optimal care—cost-effectively and with reduced waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expanding and nurturing an assigned territory by engaging with surgeons in their offices and within hospital operating rooms;
  • Conducting daily outreach to establish new customer relationships;
  • Collaborating with surgeons to showcase product capabilities;
  • Preparing and presenting quotations for products;
  • Building long-term relationships with the customer base and full-line sales personnel;
  • Creating and maintaining a strategic territory plan;
  • Training on and learning new products to effectively present to surgeons, highlighting both medical and financial advantages.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of quota-driven sales experience, demonstrating a background in cold calling and full-cycle sales, OR at least 5 years of quota-driven sales experience with similar qualifications.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Experience in presenting Medline's medical devices and surgical products;
  • Proven track record of sales growth and quota achievement;
  • Ability to present multiple product lines effectively;
  • Strong communication and organizational skills;
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Excel, Word, and Outlook;
  • Due to the nature of this outside sales role, the ability to drive and travel extensively is essential, along with direct interaction with healthcare providers on-site.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is competitive and will vary based on the applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is eligible for bonuses and/or incentives.
