About the Role:
The Regional Account Executive position is responsible for maintaining and expanding a portfolio of clients in the Midwest region, while promoting the utilization of RELX products across various platforms to foster positive business results.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Grasping the value of RELX products and pricing, as well as the full range of offerings. Capable of conveying the benefits of RELX solutions in a manner that resonates with clients.
Formulating and executing strategies that identify sales approaches. Evaluating revenue potential and outlining targeted actions to maximize revenue opportunities and penetrate markets.
Developing comprehensive sales plans for each assigned account, detailing all pertinent information regarding the account and its specific history with RELX.
Building and sustaining excellent customer relationships at all levels. Acting as a bridge between sales support and our clients to deliver high-quality service and solutions.
Creating and executing effective account/territory plans that encompass developing and implementing a sales strategy focused on new business growth.
Managing all necessary resources to drive new business, forecasting revenue, and cultivating key contacts and business relationships within new accounts.
Crafting a strategic sales plan utilizing business analysis tools to identify and monitor revenue trends. Recognizing sales opportunities, targeting specific sales activities, and analyzing competitive threats.Qualifications:
10+ years of demonstrated sales experience, with relevant industry or product knowledge.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation abilities.
Proficient organizational and forecasting skills.
Understanding of the corporate and/or professional research processes. Quick to develop a comprehensive understanding of RELX products and solutions.
Able to thrive in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other departments.
Willingness to travel up to 30%. Must reside within the designated territory.
