Overview:
The Field Sales Account Executive plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and enhancing profitability by managing relationships with existing clients and acquiring new business within the OEM sector. This position is integral to achieving sales targets and executing strategic sales initiatives across designated territories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with OEM clients while potentially managing distributor accounts to fulfill sales objectives.
  • Ensure that Parker products are effectively specified to boost revenue, focusing on high-priority opportunities to maximize sales and profit margins.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of the product line, including applications, features, advantages, and benefits.
  • Engage with engineering firms and major accounts to secure specifications and approvals, thereby creating additional sales opportunities.
  • Monitor competitive products and market activities, providing regular updates to management regarding any changes that could impact product distribution.
  • Collaborate with divisions to strategize on product offerings and services tailored to assigned accounts.
  • Deliver product training to distributors and customers, motivating them to enhance sales performance.
  • Assist in converting competitive accounts to Parker products.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in direct or distributor sales of industrial technical products.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Willingness to travel overnight 50% to 70% of the time as required.
  • Preferred product and system certification.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales performance metrics.
