Role Overview:

The Territory Sales Executive is responsible for initiating, developing, and sustaining sales of the Touchstone funds within the designated region. This role involves coordinating the sales initiatives of internal sales representatives.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Conducts both outside and inside sales meetings with financial professionals to encourage the promotion and sale of funds within the assigned territory.
2. Oversees daily sales activities of internal sales representatives within the designated area.
3. Facilitates one-on-one consultations, seminars, and training sessions for financial professionals and retail clients.
4. Reviews market publications, fund performance reports, and manager philosophies to engage in relevant discussions within the broker-dealer community.
5. Manages the territory to optimize sales while ensuring the efficient use of approved expenses. Prepares annual budgets for estimated sales and broker-dealer support expenses and submits weekly expense reports.
6. Participates in and conducts seminars and conferences.
7. Focuses on retaining existing assets and clients, collaborating with the home office to address significant redemptions.
8. Maintains and updates the territory database for accuracy in collaboration with internal sales representatives.
9. Performs additional duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:


1. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to both internal and external sales teams.
2. Proven capability in preparing correspondence, reports, and forms using established formats.
3. Strong presentation skills demonstrated through previous experiences.
4. Experience in influencing others to adopt recommended actions for problem-solving or efficiency improvements.
5. Self-motivated with a history of working independently.
6. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with examples of effective time management methods.
7. Proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities and complete tasks accurately and punctually.
8. Successful background in wholesaling within the financial services sector.
9. Experience as a broker, financial planner, or other financial services professional.


Work Environment:


This position requires travel and work in various office environments, necessitating the ability to remain stationary for extended periods while engaged in desk work, computer tasks, or meetings. Frequent movement of wrists, hands, and fingers is required for continuous computer use. The role also involves driving a personal vehicle across a broad geographical area, with travel expectations of up to 50-75%.


Educational Background:


1. Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
2. Required licenses include FINRA Series 7 and 66 or FINRA 6, 63, and 65.
3. A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are essential.
4. Maintenance of appropriate vehicle insurance is necessary.


Position Demands:


Extended hours may be required during peak workload periods or special projects.
