Position Overview:

As a Clinical Physician Assistant at Premise Health Systems, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional healthcare services. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive patient care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and implement preventive health strategies under the supervision of a physician.
  • Perform various therapeutic procedures, including injections, immunizations, and wound care management.
  • Develop and execute patient management plans, documenting progress and ensuring continuity of care.
  • Educate and counsel patients on treatment compliance, health maintenance, and developmental milestones.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess patients' clinical conditions and healthcare needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic interventions as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, utilizing electronic health record systems where applicable.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Valid state licenses and certifications to practice.
  • Current national certification (NCCPA required).
  • Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Federal DEA license and state-specific narcotic licenses as required.
  • CPR certification with hands-on evaluation.

Experience:
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in settings such as ambulatory care, family practice, or emergency departments.
