This facility includes advanced inpatient and outpatient services, surgical suites, and a research center aimed at fostering innovation in orthopedic medicine.

Role Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider Fellow is a fully licensed and credentialed professional who plays a crucial role in patient care, encompassing diagnosis, treatment, and consultations under the guidance of an approved preceptor (PA, APRN, or MD).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct clinical services to patients in the designated specialty area, adhering to established protocols and evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and psychosocial conditions through interviews, health histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
  • Identify deviations from normal assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop treatment plans.
  • Implement management strategies based on laboratory findings, physical assessments, and follow-up studies, in line with established protocols.
  • Facilitate the execution of therapeutic plans that align with patients' ongoing healthcare needs.
  • Exhibit the necessary knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care to patients.
  • Foster a compassionate and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
  • Maintain awareness of legal considerations and patient rights.
  • Analyze and resolve patient care challenges to enhance overall care quality.
  • Document patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain compliance with all organizational standards.

Qualifications
Education/Training:

  • MSN or DNP degree in nursing or completion of a physician assistant program is required.
Licensure/Certification:
  • APRN license in the state of Florida or valid physician assistant licensure in Florida.
  • Current BLS certification and additional life support certifications as required by the fellowship program.
Experience:
  • No prior experience is necessary.
