Join Our Team as an Advanced Practice Provider

At DispatchHealth, we are seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with experience in acute care settings such as Emergency Rooms, Urgent Care, or Internal Medicine. Our mission is to provide exceptional healthcare services to the community, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care in the comfort of their homes.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a clinical care team, including Medical Technicians, to deliver high-quality care directly to patients in their residences.
  • Conduct thorough health evaluations and manage complex medical conditions.
  • Perform essential therapeutic procedures, including wound care, suturing, and splinting.
  • Utilize critical thinking and adhere to evidence-based practices in patient care.
  • Document patient interactions meticulously to maintain accurate medical records.
  • Analyze diagnostic tests to formulate treatment plans and ensure ongoing patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on managing health conditions and navigating acute illnesses.
  • Engage in sensitive discussions regarding end-of-life care and patient goals.
  • Communicate effectively with all parties involved in patient care, including family members and primary care providers.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges in patient care.
  • Comply with clinical protocols and safety standards.
  • Deliver care with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and respect.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members and external partners.
  • Participate in training and team meetings to enhance clinical skills.
  • Uphold professional standards and represent DispatchHealth positively.
  • Lead with integrity, always prioritizing patient welfare.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in relevant medical fields.
  • Possession of an advanced degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • National board certification and current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift equipment and navigate various physical environments.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.
