Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a dynamic individual to support our banquet kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will share our enthusiasm for culinary excellence and exceptional service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee, coordinate, and assist in the scheduling and training of kitchen staff to ensure the preparation of high-quality dishes that meet customer expectations and enhance revenue.
  • Ensure all kitchen duties are fulfilled during shifts.
  • Prepare and artistically present all food orders according to menu standards, ensuring exceptional taste and visual appeal.
  • Efficiently prepare food for service and special events, ensuring all stations are ready for anticipated guest numbers.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director in menu planning and dish creation.
  • Ensure adherence to recipe specifications for all food preparations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and health standards as mandated by local health regulations.
  • Organize daily food preparation tasks for kitchen staff and oversee line setup and readiness.
  • Establish and ensure completion of kitchen checklists by staff.
  • Manage food inventory and stock rotation in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Participate in food inventory and ordering processes.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Assist in banquet food production as required.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of two to three years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must obtain a valid Food Handler certification upon hire if not already certified.

  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to high standards of quality in production and service, fostering a professional and respectful environment.
  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude and high productivity levels.

COMPENSATION: $21.00 per hour

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-person
