Job Summary:

The Executive Sous Chef assists the Executive Chef in all aspects of the main, grill, and/or banquet kitchens. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present dishes that meet the company's quality standards
  • Organize and assist in the service of all activities concerning à la carte, employee meals, and private dining rooms
  • Train, supervise, and direct kitchen staff to enhance their knowledge and team spirit
  • Prepare work schedules for the kitchen crew and monitor payroll costs
  • Develop menus for à la carte and banquet services
  • Expedite meals and ensure proper quality, portioning, and presentation
  • Interact with members and guests professionally, handling changes and requests as needed

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a line cook
  • Culinary training preferred
  • Health Sanitation Card
  • Ability to communicate and follow instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
