Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Systems Technician to join our team at Addison Elementary School District #4. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hardware and network support for all educational and organizational needs throughout the district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hardware Support
    • Assist with maintaining an inventory of district hardware and related documentation manuals.
    • Provide ongoing technical support for staff.
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical support to district personnel, including all hardware and software applications.
  • Network Support
    • Patching and basic network repairs.
    • Basic phone configuration.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform basic Chromebook repairs.
    • Create users and reset passwords in Active Directory.
    • Windows computer re-imaging and basic repairs.
    • Keep abreast of new developments related to hardware, software, and systems requirements.
    • Perform other duties as directed.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in technology.
  • Experience working in schools preferred.
  • General network experience.
  • A+ certification preferred.
  • Experience in the MS Windows OS required.
  • Experience with Microsoft networks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
