Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at Head-Huntress.com. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for our clients in the industrial automation sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Automation Solutions: Utilize your expertise in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS/Delta V platforms to design and develop automation solutions that meet our clients' needs.
  • Lead a Team of Engineers: As a senior engineer, you will lead a team of engineers and technicians to identify requirements, develop specifications, and implement/test/commission/qualify automation solutions.
  • Project Management: Manage project responsibilities, including developing execution plans, work breakdown structures, budgets, scheduling, time tracking, financial tracking, problem identification, conflict resolution, and attending project status meetings.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as a technical lead and guide lower-level engineers and technicians, potentially managing smaller projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Over 8 years of experience preferred, with in-depth understanding of Emerson DeltaV platform, experience in PLC-5 to ControlLogix conversions, and knowledge of PLC platforms and HMI/SCADA platforms.
  • Skills: Proficiency with AutoCAD, experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers/technicians, and ability to see, perceive color, hear, speak clearly, use hands dexterously, drive, lift, mount/demount equipment, push, and pull.
