Job Overview

Sterling Engineering Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on industrial manufacturing equipment, with a focus on injection molding machines.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with plant-supporting equipment, such as compressors, chillers, and electrical systems.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair secondary operation equipment, including conveyors, labelers, liners, inspection, and packaging machinery.
  • Documentation: Accurately document trouble calls and work from work orders.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible to work overtime, including weekends, as needed based on production demands.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other shifts and departments.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience (Preferred).
  • Injection Molding Experience: Experience in injection molding maintenance is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Compliance: Compliance with job-specific personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
