Human Resources Lead

KP LLC is seeking a skilled Human Resources Lead to become an integral part of our Corporate HR Team. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a company that values its mission and has a rich history of over 90 years.
Important Note: The ideal candidate must possess direct 'hands-on' experience and a solid understanding of daily HR operations, including talent acquisition and payroll management.
This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring at least two days a week in the HR office. Occasional travel to various company locations may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete recruitment process to attract and secure top talent.
- Serve as a backup to the HR Generalist, handling payroll and HR administrative tasks.
- Act as a primary HR contact for all departments, providing essential support.
- Advise employees and management on various HR matters, including leave policies, terminations, performance evaluations, and workers' compensation.
- Mentor staff on policy interpretation and foster positive employee relations.
- Execute administrative and compliance tasks to support the HR Department effectively.
- Develop and update job descriptions as needed.
- Assist in creating and delivering HR training programs.
- Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations; review and recommend improvements to company policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with 5-7 years of HR experience or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting is essential.
- Experience in payroll processing is required, preferably with Paylocity Payroll and HR systems.
- Background in the printing or manufacturing sector is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office, database management, and record-keeping is necessary.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills are essential for gathering information, evaluating options, and making informed decisions.

- Manage multiple projects concurrently; effectively organize and prioritize tasks and time.
