About the Role:
Workshop is on the lookout for a dedicated and talented Event Management Specialist to orchestrate large-scale events for our corporate clientele. This position entails overseeing event design from initial concept through to successful execution, providing an opportunity to create memorable experiences on a global scale. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, guiding them through the creative process and managing projects through to execution.
  • Oversee all facets of events and special projects, including comprehensive event design, logistics, and coordination of all elements.
  • Prepare and manage client-facing documentation such as concept notes, estimates, presentations, and timelines.
  • Administer the event budget, monitor expenses, and conduct post-event financial reconciliation.
  • Respond to new client inquiries and collaborate with company leadership.

Qualifications:
Essential Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in event production.
  • Proficient in Office tools, particularly Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn new software as needed.
  • A genuine passion for events, coupled with a creative and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional client service skills and a proven ability to manage complex client relationships.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to prioritize multiple large-scale projects.
  • Experience in budget creation and management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High ethical standards, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and travel for site visits and events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an event production company or a related field, particularly with corporate clients.
  • Demonstrated leadership in independently managing events.
  • Background in hospitality, event design, floral design, interior or architectural design, or theater set design is advantageous.
  • Creative vision and experience supervising junior staff or external team members.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, and other presentation software is a plus.
