Your Role at Springbrook Holding Company LLC:

Springbrook Holding Company LLC is currently seeking a skilled Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Order to Cash (OTC) team. In this role, as a Revenue Accountant with a robust grasp of ASC 606, you will be pivotal in ensuring precise revenue recognition, compliance with accounting standards, and support for the company's financial operations. Collaborating closely with various teams such as sales, professional services, and legal, you will guarantee that revenue recognition aligns with business activities and contractual terms.

This position offers a hybrid/flexible work option, allowing you to work remotely and report to the corporate office. Therefore, we prefer candidates residing in the region.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and decipher complex customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition as per ASC 606
  • Enhance and uphold existing processes and controls for evolving product offerings to ensure revenue recognition aligns with GAAP and internal policies
  • Collaborate with sales, professional services, and legal teams to comprehend contract terms and ensure alignment with revenue recognition policies
  • Prepare and maintain documentation supporting revenue recognition conclusions
  • Create revenue-related journal entries, ensuring precision and compliance with GAAP
  • Reconcile revenue accounts, investigate discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements related to revenue recognition and accounting processes
  • Contribute to strengthening internal controls and compliance procedures to maintain financial data accuracy
  • Support Standalone Selling Price (SSP) analyses
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding revenue recognition practices
  • Undertake ad-hoc accounting projects and analysis as needed
  • Maintain awareness of Springbrook Holding Company LLC's security and privacy policies
  • Report any security incident or suspected incident to the Springbrook Holding Company LLC Incident Response Team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in revenue recognition, preferably in a SaaS or technology company
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in public accounting
  • Licensed CPA or pursuing a CPA
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Salesforce
