This position reports directly to the EVP of Sales and collaborates closely with various departments including marketing, operations, finance, and sales to shape the E-Commerce channel strategy.
The role involves working alongside cross-functional teams and partner agencies to create actionable plans that align with the company's vision. Key responsibilities include enhancing and optimizing the KT brand's product offerings to meet specific revenue targets and executing strategic advertising initiatives for the platform.
This position is accountable for all facets of the Amazon account, focusing on driving profitable growth. Responsibilities include managing product forecasts, advertising strategies, pricing, product selection, and overall profitability. The role also involves overseeing external partner agencies and retail E-Commerce teams to drive portfolio expansion, primarily within North American markets, with some involvement in international markets.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a strategic visionary with a proven track record in managing Amazon for consumer packaged goods brands. Experience in both strategizing and executing sales initiatives for Amazon and E-Commerce channels is essential, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and aligning brand strategies with Amazon's framework. A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset is crucial, with the ability to translate consumer insights into actionable strategies for a leading brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate brand strategy into actionable goals and messaging for Amazon campaigns, ensuring performance metrics are established for success.
- Collaborate with Amazon agencies to develop advertising and merchandising strategies for all products available on the platform.
- Monitor and report campaign outcomes to the executive leadership team.
- Oversee all aspects of the Amazon account, including AMS, A+ page listings, new product launches, promotions, and other growth initiatives.
- Manage budgets and oversee relationships with identified Amazon agencies.
- Work with retail and partner sales teams to minimize marketing and pricing conflicts across channels.
- Engage in short-term and long-term planning regarding market share and product assortment, recommending and tracking sales and profit objectives.
- Analyze market trends, product performance, and pricing strategies that may influence sales activities.
- Review and assess monthly sales data.
- Ensure brand integrity by collaborating with legal partners to address unauthorized sellers.
- Conduct monthly performance reviews with partner agencies and the Executive Leadership Team to evaluate channel health and strategic updates.
- Establish metrics to optimize both existing Vendor Central (1P) and emerging Seller Central (3P) business on Amazon.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of extensive experience with both 1P (Vendor Direct) and 3P (Marketplace) selling platforms on Amazon, with a strong understanding of the tools and management systems associated with both.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting Amazon advertising data, with the ability to identify trends and make strategic recommendations.
- Proficient in analyzing search term reports and managing third-party agencies, while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Experience in creating and managing lower funnel E-Commerce campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance digital presence through SEO strategies and content optimization.
- Experience in budget management and agency oversight.
- A degree in business or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in consumer packaged goods is required.
