Executive Finance Leadership Role

Location: Utah County, UT

An exceptional opportunity awaits a seasoned finance executive to join a vibrant, private-equity-backed organization in Utah County. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in managing and refining all financial and accounting operations. As a vital member of the leadership team, you will spearhead financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and more to ensure the fiscal stability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enhance all financial reporting processes, from monthly closing activities to the review of financial statements
  • Lead improvements in internal management accounting and reporting
  • Manage cash flow, including reconciliation and forecasting
  • Create weekly performance dashboard reports
  • Implement tools and systems for strategic financial and operational insights
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to strategize revenue timelines
  • Facilitate audit preparations and tax return submissions
  • Communicate financial updates effectively with the Board and lenders
  • Ensure adherence to debt covenants and provide comprehensive reporting
  • Present financial data during various meetings and reviews
  • Maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures

Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of progressive finance experience in leadership roles
  • Proven financial leadership, team management, and analytical capabilities
  • Hands-on experience in management reporting, KPI development, and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of finance best practices and US GAAP
  • Degree in accounting or finance required; MBA or CPA preferred
  • Experience in private equity-owned businesses and lender relations is advantageous
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive demeanor
