Senior Vice President of Operations

Job Description:
The Senior Vice President of Operations is instrumental in supervising all Area Operations Managers within the assigned territory. Key responsibilities encompass recruitment, performance oversight, and promoting the professional development of the Area Operations Managers. This role requires close collaboration with Area Medical Managers and Vice Presidents of Medical Operations to guarantee that all facilities are adequately staffed with qualified personnel during operational hours. The Senior Vice President is also responsible for managing expenses and ensuring effective clinic budget adherence in line with essential performance metrics. Daily responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating at the clinic level to ensure cohesive team operations
  • Achieving budgetary objectives and managing costs effectively
  • Ensuring optimal staffing levels and scheduling
  • Providing ongoing training and development for Area Operations Managers
  • Conducting performance management through constructive coaching and feedback
  • Ensuring high levels of Patient Satisfaction
  • Implementing and overseeing compliance standards
  • Addressing issues and identifying areas for enhancement
  • Assisting in the rollout of new initiatives across the organization
  • Collaborating with Occupational Health Services to maintain service levels
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Education: A minimum of a high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of management experience in Urgent Care or a comparable retail healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in conflict resolution, critical thinking, Windows-based software, workflow management, process enhancement, and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Onboarding new Area Operations Managers
  • Ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and protocols
  • Serving as a resource for various departments to meet organizational objectives
Physical Demands:
This role may intermittently require standing, walking, sitting, lifting, and other physical activities. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment:
Engagement with patients in diverse situations, including challenging scenarios. There may be exposure to accidents, injuries, and unpredictable circumstances.

Managerial Demands:
Availability via mobile phone before, during, and after work hours, including weekends. Regular monitoring of company email is essential.

Schedule:
This is a full-time position with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, Monday through Friday, including weekend on-call rotation.
