Bell Falls Search is collaborating with a distinguished direct-to-consumer insurance firm.

We are in search of a Vice President of Technology who will oversee all facets of technological advancement and execution to improve both customer-oriented and internal systems.

This role is crucial in defining the technological strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and exceptional user experiences across all digital platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Development:
Formulate and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the organization's direct-to-consumer business goals.

Platform Enhancement:
Direct the development and refinement of internal and customer-facing platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital interfaces, to enhance the insurance purchasing experience and streamline internal processes.

Data-Driven Insights:
Leverage data analytics to boost customer engagement, improve conversion rates, and enhance overall business performance.

Innovation and Technology Trends:
Keep up with industry developments and emerging technologies to foster innovation and maintain a competitive advantage.

Collaborative Engagement:
Work closely with product management, marketing, and operations teams to ensure that technology initiatives are aligned with business objectives.

Leadership and Team Building:
Cultivate and lead a high-performing technology team, promoting a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Regulatory Compliance and Security:
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and implement robust security protocols to safeguard customer information and privacy.

Vendor Relations:
Assess and manage partnerships with technology vendors, ensuring they meet business requirements and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in technology leadership roles within the InsureTech or FinTech sectors, focusing on direct-to-consumer sales.

In-depth understanding of direct-to-consumer business models and customer acquisition strategies in the insurance domain.

Proven expertise in developing and scaling customer-facing digital platforms, with a strong background in web development, mobile applications, and e-commerce technologies.

Demonstrated success in driving technological innovation and achieving results in a dynamic, agile environment, particularly for internal processing and customer service.

Extensive knowledge of data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technologies, with a track record of utilizing data to influence business outcomes.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach.

Experience with cloud-based technologies and infrastructure, preferably AWS or Azure.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards pertinent to the insurance industry.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
