Position Overview

This role is pivotal in supporting the training and development of high-performing healthcare professional (HCP) sales teams, as well as managing various projects within the Sales Training Department. You will collaborate with commercial stakeholders to deliver essential training tailored to identified needs, all while working under supervision.

The North America Dexcom Sales Training Team is dedicated to enhancing sales performance for our professionals across Canada and the U.S. Our primary goal is to refine sales skills, knowledge, and attributes to maximize success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Field Sales Onboarding Training Programs, including securing virtual and live meeting spaces, and collaborating with vendor partners for travel and logistics.
  • Maintain the Sales Training Calendar and Inbox to ensure alignment of training program dates, agendas, and communications with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and distribute Field Sales Onboarding communications, including training schedules, pre-work requirements, and post-training evaluations.
  • Assist in meeting facilitation, providing on-site support during live training sessions and managing virtual training logistics.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts with support from the Procurement and Legal Departments.
  • Manage training asset inventory, update catalogs, and oversee Field Sales Welcome Kits while handling related budgets and billing processes.
  • Interface with training vendors to manage purchase orders and invoices.
  • Support departmental meeting planning, including securing venues and coordinating travel arrangements.

Qualifications for Success

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a proven ability to coordinate onboarding programs and departmental meetings.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Project management experience, adept at balancing multiple initiatives and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications, particularly Teams, to facilitate virtual meetings.
  • Experience in the health or life sciences sector is preferred.

Travel Requirements:

  • 15-25% travel may be required.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience and a High School diploma or equivalent is typically required.

Workplace Flexibility:

This position will primarily be remote, with no assigned workstation. You will collaborate with your manager to determine necessary office visits, and you must reside within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site.
