Position Overview:

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, your primary focus will be enhancing the customer journey by actively assisting shoppers in real-time to meet their needs. You will facilitate cross-category selling across various platforms to achieve sales objectives, drive growth, and elevate the shopping experience through personalized service across all departments. This role embodies the Own Your Style service model and requires a proactive attitude that exceeds expectations with a friendly and efficient approach to customer service. You will work closely with peers, particularly At Your Service colleagues, and connect customers with a Personal Stylist when needed.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by selling products and addressing any needs, whether in-store or through virtual channels.
  • Utilize product knowledge and digital tools to boost sales by guiding customers in making informed product selections and broadening their merchandise options.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right products, with a focus on size and fit in apparel.
  • Promote your services by leveraging company marketing materials and utilizing the sales promotion calendar to drive sales.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships throughout the store to effectively resolve issues and create optimal outcomes for customers.
  • Communicate regularly with the Sales and Customer Experience Manager, providing daily feedback to enhance the customer experience.
  • Uphold department recovery standards, including maintaining the selling floor and fitting rooms.
  • Adhere to asset protection protocols and compliance guidelines.

Who You Are:

  • Effective communicator, able to present information clearly to customers, peers, and management.
  • Resourceful and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • At least one year of experience in sales or retail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the store or department.
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld devices.
  • Capable of reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and climbing ladders.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
