- Works collaboratively with clinical personnel for pre-authorizations and referrals.
- Communicates efficiently with management regarding any concerns.
- Performs various administrative tasks such as faxing, filing, and scanning documents.
- Exhibits adaptability in work hours and provides coverage for colleagues when necessary.
- Adheres to established procedures during downtime.
- Completes other assigned duties as required.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Heartsaver certification is required within the first month of employment.
- Prior experience in a comparable position is preferred.
- Strong English communication and customer service abilities are essential.
- Excellent organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with medical office protocols and terminology is advantageous.
- Basic computer proficiency is required; experience with electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to different office locations as needed.
