Your Hiring Coaches is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Sales Engineer. In this position, you will be tasked with driving sales for a range of measurement instruments focused on Density, Viscosity, and Refractometry. The designated sales territory encompasses the western United States, with a preference for candidates located in major urban centers.

Compensation:
The salary for this role ranges from $74,500 to $84,200 annually, commensurate with experience in capital equipment sales, particularly within relevant industries. The commission structure is uncapped, providing monthly payouts from the outset, along with additional bonuses for surpassing sales goals. Benefits include a monthly vehicle allowance, comprehensive health coverage, profit-sharing incentives, and a substantial anniversary bonus every five years. A sign-on bonus may also be available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new client relationships while effectively managing existing accounts.
  • Deliver presentations to diverse audiences, including executive leadership, production supervisors, and technical staff.
  • Assess potential sales opportunities, craft proposals, and finalize agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the sales of capital equipment or analytical instruments is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously with a dedication to client satisfaction.
  • A degree in natural sciences or engineering is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight trips (up to 50% of the time).
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and passport is required.
