Join Gables Search Group as a Sales Engineer
We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to become an integral part of our dynamic team. In this position, you will concentrate on marketing and selling advanced measurement instruments, specifically focusing on Density, Viscosity, and Refractometry. The ideal candidate will be based in Southern Texas, with a preference for Houston, but we are open to other significant cities within the region.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this role ranges from $71,000 to $79,000, contingent upon your expertise in capital equipment sales, ideally within a relevant sector. The commission plan is uncapped, commencing from the first sale, and includes bonuses for meeting or exceeding sales targets. Additional perks comprise a monthly vehicle allowance, comprehensive benefits, profit-sharing opportunities, and a $10,000 milestone bonus every five years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and nurturing new client relationships while effectively managing current accounts.
- Conducting engaging presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including senior executives, production leaders, and technical staff.
- Assessing market opportunities, crafting proposals, and finalizing sales agreements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in the sales of capital equipment or analytical instruments is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong presentation capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- A Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering is preferred.
- Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight trips, potentially exceeding 50% of the time.
- A valid driver's license and passport are required.
