Position Overview:
Affinity Executive Search is seeking a qualified Technical Sales Representative to manage and expand our client's portfolio of Density, Viscosity, and Refractometry measurement instruments. This role involves engaging with clients across the western United States, with a preference for candidates located in major urban centers.
Compensation:
The salary for this role ranges from $74,500 to $84,200 annually, contingent upon prior experience in capital equipment sales, particularly within relevant industries. The commission structure is uncapped, rewarding performance from the outset, and includes additional bonuses for surpassing sales targets. Our client also provides a monthly vehicle allowance, mileage reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, profit-sharing opportunities, and a significant anniversary bonus every five years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Deliver presentations to diverse audiences, including senior executives and technical staff.
- Assess potential sales opportunities, create tailored proposals, and successfully close deals.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in sales of capital equipment or analytical instruments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities.
- Self-motivated with a dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as natural sciences or engineering is preferred.
- Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight trips (up to 50% of the time).
- Possession of a valid driver's license and passport is required.
