We are currently looking for a dynamic Field Solutions Engineer to design, promote, and support automated water systems for industrial reuse.
Key Responsibilities
- Employ design software to generate P&IDs for the deployment of automated water systems and perform engineering calculations for system setups.
- Drive the sales of automated water systems and related process solutions for the textile and food processing sectors.
- Communicate technical specifications, schematics, and ROI analyses for products and applications to clients.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of water, heating, and other automated systems.
- Provide technical assistance to customers for operational systems in the field.
- Identify and assess customer needs to propose tailored technical solutions.
- Prepare proposals, product presentations, and necessary documentation to secure sales agreements.
- Regularly update customer engagement activities in the company’s CRM software, ensuring accurate records for all leads and accounts.
- Support quarterly sales growth objectives within a specified product range and territory.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and events, and present when necessary.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to develop effective strategies for expanding product market share.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and engineering design tools such as AutoCad, SolidWorks, Fusion, or Matlab.
- Ability to simplify complex topics into clear and concise explanations.
- Strong sales acumen and information retention capabilities, with a systematic approach to workflows.
- Exhibit confidence, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude, striving to exceed customer expectations.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent listening skills to meet customer needs promptly.
- Highly self-motivated, capable of managing diverse responsibilities, and executing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive customer information.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and performance metrics, functioning effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, with the requirement of a personal credit card for reimbursable expenses.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in solution sales for industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with boilers, cooling towers, HVAC systems, liquid pumping systems, and/or wastewater treatment systems.
