As a Supervisor, Special Events, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events by providing exceptional customer service, managing event operations, and leading a team of event staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify event transactions against cash handling procedures during event wrap-ups.
  • Respond to customer service issues and resolve them promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain order and organization in assigned event areas.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with event stakeholders, including police departments and security personnel.
  • Supervise event staff and serve as a liaison between staff and upper management.
  • Count event attendees and track event metrics as needed.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance and adhere to company dress code standards.
  • Report any unknown, observed, or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to management.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues with event equipment and technology.
  • Complete daily event inspections and required documentation.
  • Assist with event cleanup and maintenance tasks.
  • Substitute for other event staff as needed.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of event operations, including event logistics, vendor management, and customer service.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Cash handling or event experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but standard written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to effectively respond positively to customer problems or complaints.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and deal with unexpected events.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record required.
