Culinary Operations Supervisor

As a Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Culinary Department within a healthcare facility. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient management of food preparation and service, ensuring a high standard of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing budgetary controls and monitoring expenses for the culinary operations.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and implement innovative menu offerings.
- Oversee the execution of catering events, ensuring exceptional service and quality.
- Implement new culinary initiatives in partnership with the marketing and culinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts.
- Progressive experience in culinary or kitchen management, with a focus on high-volume food service.
- Experience in catering is advantageous.
- Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking practices is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of food trends, quality standards, sanitation, and cost control measures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Willingness to engage in client satisfaction initiatives.
- ServSafe certification is preferred.
