SERVPRO of Southwest Portland is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our dedicated team.
The Operations Supervisor will report directly to the General Manager and will be tasked with overseeing the restoration division. In this role, you will manage daily operations within the facility, ensuring that job schedules and products adhere to the highest quality standards while minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of restoration teams, including scheduling and production levels.
- Manage a diverse workforce to ensure timely job processing.
- Communicate effectively with all restoration staff and delegate appropriate tasks.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance performance.
- Foster employee development for greater responsibilities, enhancing skills and knowledge through training.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure all job aspects are met, preventing delays.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and implement safe working practices in assigned areas.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
- Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in the restoration industry.
- Preferred: IICRC certifications.
- Proven ability to build a strong team with effective leadership skills.
- Results-oriented and process-driven mindset.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications.
Skills/Physical Demands:
- Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Capability to climb ladders and work at heights, as well as in confined spaces.
- Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
- Comfortable working with cleaning agents.
- Must successfully complete a background check in accordance with applicable laws.
